Dear CSC Community,

One of the joys of our club is the simple pleasure of sharing food—celebrating birthdays, surprising each other with treats, and enjoying a well-earned snack after time on the water. It’s a lovely tradition, and we’d love to keep it both joyful and safe.

To help keep our shared spaces safe, if you bring food to share, please label it with the item name and the date it was prepared. Labels will be available in the clubhouse and on the shelf near the refrigerator. If the food is store-bought, please keep the original packaging or ensure the expiration date is clearly visible. And as a gentle rule of thumb: if it’s not something you’d serve to your own friends or family, please don’t serve it to your fellow sailors.

A friendly reminder to tidy up after yourself. If you spot food that’s past its prime, be a good shipmate and toss it. This is our club, and it thrives when we all pitch in.

Finally, for the many sailors among us with food allergies, an ingredient list is always appreciated—and might just help someone enjoy a treat they would’ve otherwise skipped.

Thank you for helping keep our community safe, considerate, and delicious!
