EVENT:  ASCE Student Symposium - 4/6 and 4/7

Hi Waterfront Tenants,

On Sunday, April 6th and Monday, April 7th , the UC Berkeley and SF State chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers will be hosting their student symposium at the Berkeley Waterfront.  This will be a chance for students to showcase their skills and achievements by designing, building, and competing in various civil engineering activities.

There will be no street closures in the Waterfront, however the Symposium has rented the entirety of the 199 Seawall parking lots, and will have activities taking place in Shorebird Park, Shorebird Beach, and the Double Tree Hotel.  There will be up to 600 people attending this event, so we anticipate increased activity and traffic in the vicinity of these locations during the event.

Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated as the Waterfront hosts this exciting educational and community-building event.
