You must have passed the following test (and have it recorded on your White Card): Windsurfing Tests: Novice: Written Test
Active membership. Able to swim (wearing personal flotation device). Windsurfing can be physically challenging and you will need to be able to paddle.
There is a maximum of 8 students. Slots will be allocated in signup order. If more students sign up than can be accommodated, all on the waitlist will be notified by email of any cancellation, and the first to respond will get the slot. You can check your signup status on the website.]

This class is for Novice windsurfers. If you have a Novice I class you are attending earlier in the weekend, you may also register for this class.

After taking this class, you will have a refined sense for techniques and concepts introduced in the Novice I class AND have been exposed to windsurfing gear selection for conditions, key habits, downwind turns, and the two-step tack.
The lesson will be taught by CSC volunteers and will include both on-land instruction and on-the-water practice. If you own a wetsuit you are encouraged to bring it, but a selection of wetsuits are available to borrow.
