Cruise Description

Hello, I am planning a dinghy cruise to Albany Beach in the afternoon of Friday, September 18th.

The plan is to sail to Albany Beach, stop for a brief rest and snack, then sail back to CSC.

Albany beach is about an hour walk from CSC, and just north of the senior dinghy area. There are composting toilets at the beach, but no running water, trash recepticles, or tables. The beach is popular with dog walkers.

There will be a mandatory boat repair session prior to the cruise.

Seniors: sign up for the cruise, and email or slack me with your boat preference.

Juniors: sign up for the cruise, and either email or slack me with your experience and comfort level:
A) sailing in high wind (>20kts)
B) using the trapeze
C) using the gennaker
D) volunteering at CSC

Looking forward to this cruise!

Brian

Out of consideration to fellow club members who may be on the waiting list and to skippers who work hard organizing these cruises, only sign up if you (and your guest) are committed to attend. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you must subsequently cancel, remove your name (and guest's) from the cruise sign-up list asap, even if you are on the wait list. We have had too many cases of people signing up and canceling at the last minute, or simply not showing up. This is not cool; don't do it.

If your plans change, and you cannot make a cruise for which you've signed up, please remove yourself right away. If you don't, you'll create more work for the skippers after the lottery closes, and you will also affect other members who are on the wait list.
