Hi all - We’re working on something exciting this spring! We’re exploring how to refine our dinghy teaching program by providing guidance on how to group similar sailing skills together and progress students through them.

We're still keeping our decentralized, wonderfully varied approach to teaching at CSC–we’re just aiming to offer guidance along with bonus crowd-sourced tips, tricks & resources.

Our goal is to be able to test this new phased approach at our first fast-track the week of May 11.

The committee working on this is: Steph Evans & John Bongiovanni as co-Rear Commodores; Mo Johnson & Emma Chrisman as co-Pedagogy Chairs; and Lucian Beebe as Fast-Track Chair.

Some ways to get involved:

Provide your teaching tips & tricks & drills to supplement how to teach each grouped skill set.
Testing/piloting the approach on the water/in the wild & provide feedback.
