Cal Saliens!
Some good news - As you may have noticed, we recently gained some added square footage in our dinghy and windsurf yard!
Some not so good news - We continue to be in talks with the City of Berkeley that make it clear that sooner or later (most likely sooner), we'll need to remove/replace some of the structures in our yard.
This does mean we are going to have a pretty unique opportunity to rethink the organization of the yard and, to some extent, the facilities as well!
To that end, we want to solicit input from you all.
What facilities have you always wished we had in the yard? If you could go wild with spray paint lines on the floor, how would you organize all the boats, boards, and other equipment?
Tell us by filling out this survey:

There's, of course, a lot of hard real-world constraints ($$$, building codes, utilities placement, etc.) so not every idea will be feasible. And we certainly do not want to change the great vibes of the club. But, just as it is with our sailing skills, there's always opportunity for improvement. All serious and reasonable ideas will be considered!
We have already started looking at some possible plans (thanks architectural committee!) and we'll sift through your suggestions to make improvements where possible. Before any significant changes are made, we'll share the plans at the next GMM or another open meeting.
See you on the water!
