Cruise Description

Join us for a cruise to the Golden Gate Bridge on Monday September 7th, 2026.  We'll dock at Horseshoe Cove after passing the gate and have a picnic dinner.  We will meet at J-Dock at 11:00 AM sharp and may not be back until 10:00 PM or later.  Please be aware that unlike many other CSC cruises, we are starting late and ending late. 

Everyone must bring a life jacket (PFD) and a set of foul-weather gear, jacket and pants.  You can borrow these from the Club.  Dress in layers (wool or synthetic; not cotton), and be prepared for cold, wet and windy conditions.  Wear non-slip shoes that you don't mind getting wet and please no flip-flop/slip-on/open toe sandal.  Bring water, sunscreen, a hat with strap clip, sunglasses, sailing gloves, and a headlamp (optional but nice for after sunset).  

Bring food for a picnic dinner, water, hot water for tea/hot chocolate, and snacks to share.  

This cruise will take place weather permitting and may be rescheduled or cancelled, subject to forecast conditions.

Read the info below before signing up.  Be certain you can attend, and remove your name right away if you sign up and then can't make it.  We will contact you individually after the lottery is closed and ask for re-confirmation.

Out of consideration to fellow club members who may be on the waiting list and to skippers who work hard organizing these cruises, only sign up if you (and your guest) are committed to attend. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you must subsequently cancel, remove your name (and guest's) from the cruise sign-up list asap, even if you are on the wait list. We have had too many cases of people signing up and canceling at the last minute, or simply not showing up. This is not cool; don't do it.

If your plans change, and you cannot make a cruise for which you've signed up, please remove yourself right away. If you don't, you'll create more work for the skippers after the lottery closes, and you will also affect other members who are on the wait list.
