Fall Retreat - Register Today!

Do you struggle to find time to pray? Does the semester's workload feel like too much to handle?
Spend some face time with our Lord on Tuesdays @ Memorial Chapel from 12:30-5 PM and Wednesdays @ the CSC Chapel from 1:30-5 PM. Adoration is a wonderful opportunity to truly open your mind and heart to what God, be present with the Lord, and listen to what He is trying to tell you.
We need at least two adorers present at all times: please sign up below for time slot.

Catholic Terps tailgate before the Terps football game – 10:30am-12pm. Wear your Catholic Terp Shirt and eat free; otherwise please bring $5 to cover the food cost. Contact Zach Hayes or Josh Fatzinger if you can help set up and clean up or if you can bring food. Facebook event here.

Msgr. Peter J. Vaghi, pastor, Church of the Little Flower, continues his First Thursdays and First Fridays theological reflections in October. The 2011-12 eight-part series is on "Encountering Jesus in the Word." This October reflection "The Making of an Evangelist," will be presented on Thursday, October 6, at 7:00 a.m. (following 630 a.m. Mass) at the Church of the Little Flower, Rectory Meeting Room, 5607 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda, continental breakfast. It will be repeated that evening at 6:00 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle (following the 5:30 p.m. Mass), East Conference Room,1725 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.
This talk will also be given on Friday, December 7, at 8:00 a.m. (following 7:30 a.m. Mass) at St. Patrick’s Church, Tenth and G Streets, NW, Washington, DC.
Msgr. Vaghi is Pastor of the Church of the Little Flower, Bethesda and is Chaplain of the John Carroll Society. He is the author of The Commandments We Keep: A Catholic Guide to Living a Moral Life; The Sacraments We Celebrate: A Catholic Guide to the Seven Mysteries of Faith; and The Faith We Profess: A Catholic Guide to the Apostles Creed. He has written articles for America, Priest, and Our Sunday Visitor. He has also contributed to two collections of writings on priestly spirituality: Behold Your Mother and Born of the Eucharist
