Prayer Vigil for Life with Guadelupe Icon An icon of Our Lady of Guadelupe is visiting the Catholic Student Center this week.
Join us for a prayer vigil for life on Thursday November 10th at 6:30 PM. We will be praying a Divine Mercy Chaplet to support life in all stages. After, we will have some time for silent prayer and personal reflection in front of the Icon.

| Wheelchair Distribution at VA Medical Center
For Veterans Day, the Maryland State Council Knights of Columbus will be distributing over 110 wheelchairs to veterans at VA Medical Centers in the DC and Baltimore region.

The CSC is offering weekly yoga classes with Catholic prayer/meditation.
IIona, a university of Maryland alumna and yoga instructor, has two classes - a coed class on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 PM and a women’s class on Thursday mornings from 10-11:30 AM. |

| No-Shave November and Beard-Off!
Men of the CSC are putting their razors away this month and offering up the scratchy pains of growing their fantastic No-Shave November beards for an end to abortion.

For Fair Trade Day at UMD on Tuesday, November 15th, UMD Fair Trade will be hosting Fair Trade Coffee hot spots across campus (setting up coffee stations and having folks hand out information about Fair Trade).

Join us after Wednesday Night Dinner next week (November 16th) to hear Michelle Carper, Coordinator for Life Issues for the Archdiocese of Washington.
Michelle plans the annual Youth Rally and Mass for Life before the March for Life in January and formerly worked at the Catholic Student Center!

Vicki Thorn talk - What They Didn't Tell You in Sex Ed Vicki Thorn, founder of the Project Rachel ministry for post-abortive healing active in dioceses across the country is coming to speak at the Hoff Theater on December 6th.
Her presentation “What They Didn’t Tell You in Sex Ed” will discuss the biology of contraception and Theology of the Body. The talk is free – please invite friends. Facebook event coming soon. |

| Winter Break Service Trip – Habitat for Humanity
The CSC winter break service trip will be to Sea Island Georgia Habitat for Humanity, from January 8 - 14, 2012.
Cost is $250 per person, $50 Deposit is due December 1.
Only 12 spots are available and registration is first come first served. A wait list will be used after all spots are filled, in the event of cancellations.
