	Vianney Dinner – Fr. Dan Leary – Washington Redskins Chaplain Fr. Dan Leary, Chaplain to the Washington Redskins and pastor at St. Andrew the Apostle parish in Silver Spring, will be our guest speaker for the final Vianney Men’s Dinner of the semester, tonight Monday Nov. 14th at 7 PM. As always, the dinner will prove to be a solid evening of food, fellowship, and vocations. RSVP so we can get a head count for food, and we'll see you there!!
Fiat Dinner for Women!   Ever wonder what you are meant to do with your life or how to determine God's will for you? Join us for dinner and a talk on discernment and the call to religious life. 		Wednesday Night Speaker Series: Michelle Carper, ADW Life Issues   Join us after Wednesday Night Dinner next week (November 16th) to hear Michelle Carper, Coordinator for Life Issues for the Archdiocese of Washington.   Michelle plans the annual Youth Rally and Mass for Life before the March for Life in January and formerly worked at the Catholic Student Center!   For more information about Archdiocese of Washington Life Issues visit http://www.facebook.com/adwlifeissues
New Roman Missal Class Explore the Mysteries; Discover the Meaning, and Experience the riches of the Mass.   Our Biblical Walkthrough the Mass course will be offered based on the new translation of the Roman Missal on Fridays at 4 PM in the conference room. Man-fast Thanksgiving Spectacular ‘ Men! Join us next Tuesday, Nov. 22nd for our pre-Thanksgiving Man-fast Men’s Breakfast, complete with turkey and all the Thanksgiving fixins’ (can you say epic meal time)!   We’ll also be having our regular weekly Man-fast Men’s Breakfast this Thursday at 6:30 AM.
			No-Shave November and Beard-Off!   Men of the CSC are putting their razors away this month and offering up the scratchy pains of growing their fantastic No-Shave November beards for an end to abortion. At the end of the month there will be our 2nd Annual Beard-Off judging contest to raise money for local pregnancy centers and collect food for St. Mark’s Food Pantry. All men are encouraged to participate – ladies, pray that we don’t look too ridiculous.
Vicki Thorn - What They Didn't Teach You in Sex Ed Vicki Thorn, founder of the Project Rachel ministry for post-abortive healing active in dioceses across the country is coming to speak at the Hoff Theater on December 6th at 7:30 PM.   Her presentation “What They Didn’t Tell You in Sex Ed” will discuss the biology of contraception and Theology of the Body. The talk is free – please invite friends.

 

Winter Break Service Trip – Habitat for Humanity   The CSC winter break service trip will be to Sea Island Georgia Habitat for Humanity, from January 8 - 14, 2012.   Cost is $250 per person, $50 Deposit is due December 1.   Only 12 spots are available and registration is first come first served.  A wait list will be used after all spots are filled, in the event of cancellations.   Register online at CatholicTerps.org  - Your spot is not guaranteed until deposit is received.

Orthodox Christians on Campus Guest Lecture Father Daniel Byantoro will be our guest speaker at the next Orthodox Christians on Campus meeting, Tuesday, November 15th, 2011 at 7PM at the Catholic Student Center. Father Daniel is a native of Indonesia. He is a convert from Islam to Orthodoxy, and is a missionary to Indonesia. He will share the story of his wonderful conversion to Orthodoxy, and give suggestions for the kinds of things we can do on the campus, to strengthen each other in the Christian Faith and to share our faith with the students.   *Note this is not a CSC-sponsored event*
