Summer Cookouts 

This Wednesday July 6 

Come celebrate summer with a CSC cookout!  Daily Mass or evening prayer will be at 5:30 PM in the CSC Chapel and followed by dinner at 6 PM.  After dinner we’ll have games, volleyball and more!

Orientation Help Wanted

We are still in need of help with summer orientation sessions.  We set up a table similar to First Look and it gives our new incoming students a chance to learn a little bit about Catholic Terps, and sign up for more information.  each session runs about 45 minutes total - around the lunch hour, but times and dates vary - please see the Google Doc to sign up and help:  Summer orientation  You can also email Ann for more. a...@catholicterps.org

More Info	A group of us are going to walk around NYC and then see a show on Saturday (July 23d) afternoon. We'll be taking the megabus up--the ticket will be about $30 roundtrip. If we time it right, we can have a group get on the bus and DC and then a group get on the same bus in Baltimore/White Marsh. The ticket for the show on Broadway will be about $70...and the show depends on how many people can definitely go...which if we have at least 15 people we can see Mary Poppins (orchestra seats!) or Lion King. I need to have a definite number by July 1st so I can reserve the tickets. Feel free to invite people not involved with the CSC!

Run for Vocations

We will be participating in the Marine Corp Marathon/10K in October

Want to pray for vocations, support our seminarians and get in shape?  The CSC is hosting a team for this year's Run For Vocations (RFV) campaign.  Those participating will raise funds for Archdiocese of Washington seminarians and will participate in the Marine Corps Marathon or 10K run on October 30, 2011.

 

The CSC team will run the 10K race (6.2 miles).  Runners of all levels are welcome!  Want to participate but don't want to run?  We can still use your help to fundraise and support our runners on race day.  Please consider joining for a great opportunity for fellowship and prayer for vocations. Please remember that Fr. Rob is the assistant vocations director for the Archdiocese of Washington, and any support you provide helps further his mission in this role.

 

Those in the area this summer will get together soon to start training.  Once the school year starts, we'll start fundraising and meeting regularly to pray and run.  Please contact Mary Sirianni atmcjsi...@gmail.com if you're interested in participating in any way.
