All Souls Day Mass of Remembrance – Wednesday Nov. 2nd, 5:30 PM
Today, November 2nd is the Feast of All Souls and we will have a Mass of Remembrance for loved ones that our community has lost. During the Mass all the names will be read aloud, as candles are lit in remembrance of their life. Families of those loved ones are invited to attend the Mass and be a part of the process, but it is not required. Free Wednesday night dinner will follow this Mass.
Knights of Columbus Info Session – Wednesday Nov. 2nd after dinner
Interested in community service and supporting the Church? Heard of the Knights of Columbus and want to learn what they're all about? Want a sword? All men of the CSC community are invited to a Knights of Columbus info session on Wednesday Nov. 2nd after dinner at 7pm. Current officers will be there to share the mission of the Knights of Columbus and answer any questions you may have about the organization. See the Facebook event here.
No-Shave November and Beard-Off!
It’s November again, and you know what that means! No-Shave November! Men of the CSC are putting their razors away this month and offering up the scratchy pains of growing their fantastic beards for an end to abortion. At the end of the month there will be our 2nd Annual Beard-Off judging contest to raise money for local pregnancy centers and collect food for St. Mark’s Food Pantry. All men are encouraged to participate – ladies, pray that we don’t look too ridiculous. Please RSVP on Facebook to participate.
CSC Yoga! – starts Nov. 3rd
The CSC will offer weekly yoga classes with Catholic prayer/meditation. IIona, a university of Maryland alumna and yoga instructor, will offer two classes - a coed class on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 PM and a women’s class on Thursday mornings from 10-11:30 AM. Mark your calendars and RSVP on Facebook here!
Catholic Daughters Rosary for Purity
This Thursday, November 3rd, the Catholic Daughters are praying a rosary for purity on North Campus as part of White Ribbons Against Pornography (W.R.A.P.) week. Join us at 6 PM outside of the North Campus diner!

Join the Community Service Committee on our monthly visit to our elderly neighbors at Spellman House in College Park. We’re leaving from the CSC at 6:45 PM for an evening of fun and socializing with the residents and we’ll return to the CSC by 9 PM. Please contact Joanna Martinez for more information at ser...@catholicterps.org.
