Hello,
I have been working on questions, and i am curious as to what is defined as a "helper function", would using mylist.append('blah') be considered a helper function?

A helper function is just a function B that makes it nicer to read function A. You could have implemented A as a single function, but to make it easier to read, you also made function B which is called by function A.

In particular, built-in Python functions are not helper functions.

Thanks, by any chance can we get our hands on past exams with solutions?
