A Brief description about ISSE and Coimbator Chapter.:

Indian Society of Systems for Science and Engineering (ISSE) is a professional body of interdisciplinary collaboration of systems science and engineering. ISSE is unique among the systems oriented institutions having the objective of bringing together scholars and practitioners from academic, business and R&D organizations for promoting the systems concept. The society was started in 2010 at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), ISRO, with its Head quarters at Thiruvananthapuram. Chapters are added at Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore, Manipal, Kochi, Sriharikota-Chennai, Hyderabad and Amaravathi with active participation of professional.

Objectives of the society are :

• Promoting study of systems science and Engineering
• Disseminating knowledge pertaining to systems theory and applications
• Providing a forum for scholars and practitioners to come together to share ideas and experiences
• Recognitions of individuals who contribute to systems science and engineering through ISSE merit awards.

 

It is proposed to commence a new chapter for “Trichy region” with participation of members from academic, business and R&D organizations in and around Coimbatore.

We have initiated a membership drive in these new chapters region. It is proposed to offer a special fee of Rs1000/- for “Life Member”, who are enrolling on or before 30^th November 2016. All the professionals with graduation in Engineering or Post Graduation in science are eligible to become Life / Associate Members of ISSE.

SASTRA University will be the focal point identified to co-ordinate the formation and to lead the functioning of this chapter.

I Have enclosed the Membership form for becoming the Life member of ISSE. Request you to circulate among your colleagues and Known circles in Industry at Trichy to become member of the Society. We are planning for inauguration of this chapter on 10-12-2016 at SASTRA University. Our Director, Shri.P.Kunhikrishnan, has accepted to plan this function after your college function. Request you to help us in getting more members from your esteemed institute and other organisation  / industry with which you are in good contact.

Also request you to accept or nominate an active person from St. Joseph's college for the Executive member in order to actively execute/proceed with the chapter activities.
