I've been checking out this software once in a blue moon going back to Nitro 10 considering it has never had Wacom Signature integration to sign or even Surface Pro pen for signing. The Signature features seems quite limited to the ability of capturing a signature, need to save it then use it.

Hi, I am trying to refactor the jSignature example code and use a Wacom STU-530 to create signatures in Forms. I'm able to draw the signature with the Wacom and see it displayed in the form. I click the Done button and image is created from the canvas just like jSignature and the base64 date is put in the textarea field of the form. But the form image saved in Laserfiche is the original form before the signature is drawn instead of the actual signature like the jSignature example. I can't figure out why this is happening. Any ideas? Thanks.

You need to have a second form in your business process that is identical, but takes the base64 value and converts it back to the signature inside the canvas. Then store that form instead of the starting form.

I'm using a Wacom STU 530 signature tab with the Signature SDK v3.20.4., the documentation seems to only be furnished when buying the SDK, so I won't be able to give a link here, but you can find some code samples here.

From a user's perspective, what justifies, or can justify, that price? In terms of digital signatures, what does a Wacom signature pad offer that an iPad with the Adobe Fill & Sign application cannot offer?

The STU 430 signature pad is ideal for customer facing applications where the customer is expected to complete a form, or questionnaire. The LCD screen is quite capable of being programmed to allow it to display questions and offer multiple choice answers, and the SDKs give unparalleled control over how your whole process is put together. With them, you can either integrate the STU 430 into your already existing processes, or you can create an entirely new system for signature capture. If you are looking for an out-of-the-box solution, then we can also provide licenses for SignPro PDF, a piece of software that allows you to create PDF documents, and provides a standalone application which allows you to sign them.

The STU 430 is an esignature solution which not only permits signature capture, but also promotes a paperless office. You may not be able to go entirely paperless, due to customers needing receipts, or letters to be posted, but a solution like ours will allow you to seriously cut down on the paper used in your workplace. All those forms your customers complete, and all the paperwork they sign; this can all now be done electronically and, apart from the customer copy, can all be stored electronically too. This will even cut down on your postage costs, as there will be no more ferrying documents between offices.

Install the required software from Kofax / Wacom.
The driver contained in this software will listen for signature pads on a virtual channel. Applications such as SignDoc will be able to use the signature pad.

Within Drake Accounting, you have the option to use your own signature on different documents. Your signature can be uploaded from a separate file into the software or you can select to use a signature pad to capture your signature.

Capture client and artist signatures for your release forms and deposit agreements and store them digitally in REV23 Desktop for a paperless studio! While not in use, the 5" color display can rotate messages, special offers and branding.

Signature Pad works seamlessly with software and the clients signature is always clear on the saved consent forms. Our clients are always impressed during the check in process when they see a slideshow of great quality images (Studio Logo, Portfolio Pieces, etc.) on the display tablet.

I can't see the signature in Adobe Reader in PDF file signed with Wacom sign pro pad. If I open PDF with any other PDF reader signature is visible. Yesterday, and for the last few years using Wacon sign pro ad everything was fine

Aldaugh the signature was visible in all pdf viewers i have except adobe reader, the problem was actually with wrong sertificate in wacom sign pro aplication. I loaded certificate again and everything is ok now.

The STU-500 LCD signature pad features a high-quality reflective display with a 640 x 480 resolution, providing sharp viewing of the smallest text and ample space for even the longest signatures. The large screen offers the flexibility to display images and text or to incorporate soft keys or menu buttons. Its reflective TFT technology means there is no need for backlighting, for a bright, high contrast viewing experience in business environments, and a longer lifetime. Thanks to these features, the STU-500 is the ideal signature pad for day-to-day use at public counters, allowing the reliable capture of millions of electronic signatures.

Reported previously in BiometricUpdate.com, the first signature recognition system was developed in 1965. Dynamic signature recognition research continued in the 1970s focusing on the use of static or geometric characteristics (what the signature looks like) rather than dynamic characteristics (how the signature was made). Interest in dynamic characteristics surged with the availability of better acquisition systems accomplished through the use of touch sensitive technologies.

These revolutionary eDocument solutions are set to transform digital signature capture across key industries. With a plug-and-play single-cable connection, Wacom Signature Displays simplify digital document signing, form filling, and annotation.

Backed by our 3-year standard warranty and 5-year extended warranty*, your business can be confident that the STU-540 will look and perform like new for years to come.As a result, these signature pads have the flexibility to meet the growing demands of any organization implementing handwritten electronic signatures.

1. Incredible accuracy
Thousands of pressure sensitivity levels enable electronic handwriting that is biometrically accurate 2. Unique Identity can be linked to an individual user
The unique Pen ID allocated to every Wacom pen ensures that content such as a signature or nots on a document.

After this comparison, the engine generates a simple, highly accurate and instant acceptance or rejection message for the signature being checked. Organizations can choose how strict the pass/fail criteria are. This helps them achieve the right balance between security and a smooth customer experience.

Image-based verification compares a static image of a signature against up to 6 known reference signatures by comparing the proportion of linked visual features in the signature, and their similarity. The SDK supports a wide range of image types (png, bmp, tif, jpeg, etc.) and provides options to:

Wacom Ink SDK for Verification can be used to validate handwritten electronic signatures dynamically at the point of signing, or after the fact during fraud investigations.
There are so many situations where you can think of personal verification necessity
