Hello All!
1. What sets your heart at celebration and joy? Have you ever had an experience where you were so happy, but suddenly found that your joy was threatened? What did you do?
2. How do we "seal" our prayers and keep them from being jeopardized by mental malpractice?
3. Look at how King David speaks to God in 2 Samuel 7. How would you describe that relationship? What about King David's Psalm 16? What can we do to cultivate that kind of intimacy in our prayer lives?
4. What is the longest you've spent in "the closet" with God? How did it make you feel? What is keeping you from having that kind of time with him each and every day?
5. How does King David compare with modern Asian rulers like those of North Korea and China? Are there any lessons we can learn from the life of David that have application in today's global landscape?

It's been a pretty wild time in my life these days! My wife and I just had our first baby, Light Shalom Morgan, last Sunday and so most of my time has involved changing diapers, holding, kissing, not sleeping, etc.

Our prayer watch tonight is going to focus on healing envy/jealousy/rivalry in power structures through God's grace and love. In preparation for the readings and discussion after, here are a few questions to help us prepare:
