We have some happy news to report, and also some work for us all to do!

Placement received!
In case you hadn't heard, we've received Placement this year!  Our current assigned spot is near 9:15 and "I" street.  This lets us send an early arrival team to setup camp ahead of time so that we're ready to begin washing feet as soon as the general public is admitted to Burning Man.  Last year it took about a day and a half to get everything setup, so this should make a real difference.

Donations update:
As of today, we've received a total of $1,660 in church and individual PayPal donations from SpiritualPlaya.org.  We're extremely grateful for each individual contribution, whether it's $10 or $1,000, as every penny will help us successfully get to Burning Man to deliver two lectures, wash hundreds of people's feet and share Christian Science.

Help us get there:
If you know anyone who might be interested in helping us out with a donation, please direct them to http://spiritualplaya.org/donate/.

We've received word that some additional specific contributions should be arriving soon, so hopefully we'll have another update in a week or two with some increased numbers.

Our total rough estimated budget is somewhere around $10,000, so we still have quite a ways to go in terms of fundraising.  This covers our vehicle rentals, lecturer fees and everything else to get there.  We're keeping our Thank You page updated, so check it out if you'd like to see who's contributed so far.  If we're missing anyone on the list, please let me know.  http://spiritualplaya.org/thank-you/

Transportation update:
We've successfully confirmed reservation of a 15' box truck for transporting all of our camp materials, supplies, tents, bikes and food for our 18 total campers.  It can be hard to find a truck rental company who will rent to Burners but this one is very friendly to participants, so it is a blessing to have found them.

Please feel free to forward this message on to anyone you think might be interested in supporting Christian Science at Burning Man this year.

Thanks for your prayers and efforts everyone!

This is amazing - I'm so excited for the good you'll be witnessing.

I found this prayer-watch signup on spiritualplaya, and I'm wondering about some rough logistics - so an early team is going to head there a few days early to set up, then everyone else heads out, then gets there a day or two later?  And the festival itself starts... Monday?  I guess I'm just asking for a rough outline to inform those of us signing up...

Muchas gracias, you wonderful people.
