With the US Presidential Campaigns well underway, Dr. Gilbert will help us better understand the international settings and the fundamental alternatives and visions under girding the coming national election. [For better or worse, one of Gilbert's students at DU (Univ. of Denver) was Ms. Condelezza Rice - long before she became US Secretary of State.] Professor Gilbert is an engaged anti-war and anti-racist activist who writes extensively on how to best make the promise of democracy real for ordinary Americans and others around the world.
