Hi all,
Command "java sax.Counter -v -s valid_greeting.xml" gives [Error]
valid_greeting.xml:2:11: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find declaration of element
'greeting'. I've checked everything in setup. Both .dtd and .xsd
files are there.
Thanks,
Holly

Hi,
I am also getting same error.I think the problem may be in assigning
the schema?
Thanks,

Yes, but -v -s means validate using the *linked* .xsd, and there's
no linkage here. Try with valid_greeting2.xml which does have
such linkage. --Betty O.

I've linked the provided project for pa1a and its zip file
for easier transfer to your home PC.--Betty O.

I've posted a practice final after all, after finding a
nearly-usable one to fix up.--Betty O.
