Homework Assignment 2, due Mon, April 26

Hi class,

Here is your next homework assignment.
This time, all the exercises are from the textbook.
Feel free to work together and discuss the questions
online, but do write up your own solutions to turn in.
This time there is also extra credit available.

There are 7 problems from the book:
3.12
3.13
3.25
4.8
4.9
5.12
5.16

For extra credit, do Section 5.8 in the textbook,
which is a more open-ended exercise.

I'll be happy to discuss these problems and
give hints, but only through next Friday, April 17.
That should be good incentive to get the
assignment out of the way early.

In response to numerous requests, I'll extend the deadline
for this assignment until Wednesday, 11:59pm. Which
