When I first installed NXT 2.1 software, it ran on Mavericks (macbook air). After quitting the program and trying to re-open it at a later date it crashed. So I un-installed it and reinstalled it. It ran correctly again until I quit the program and tried to open it again. So I find myself re-installing it every time I want to use it. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Sounds like something worth contacting LEGO support about to see if they have any info.

Seems to be an incompatibility between the latest flash player and Mindstorms nxt.

There have been known issues and patches released.

Check to make sure you have the most recent.

Thanks Damien,
I forgot about the patches since I originally planned to program in the EV3 software. However, all of the display stuff is off so I decided to switch back to NXT 2.1 but didn't install a patch.

Here's what I did. I backed up the builds in the Lego Creations folder found in the Documents. I then deleted the Lego Mindstorms from the Applications, as well as the Lego Creations Folder in the Document. I then had to go into the Library and delete the Framework folder. I then emptied the trash and restarted the computer. I searched for anything containing Lego and deleted it so long as it was not my backup builds that I just created.
