Model questions for the midsem?

Hello
I like to know if I could get some idea on how the questions would be
in the model exam. What is the pattern and type of questions asked?
This will be the first exam I will be taking at IIT(and in the US!).

In CS 351, Professor Lee always gave sample exams, but he hasn't for
this class.
He likes to give a few multiple choice, a few diagram, and a few short-
answer problems. I am going to study any diagrams that he gave in the
slides. I would guess that it's also good to know the exact
definitions of semaphores and deadlock.
He seemed to suggest that a baboon-type of semaphore problem will be
on the exam. His exams usually include questions similar to the
assignments.
