Gantt Chart

Is there any software that can be used to draw the Gantt Chart.
Drawing them in word is not very easy and very time consuming.

Hi Hozefa,

On OS X I use Omnigraffle for most diagramming tasks, and I know
plenty of Windows folks use Visio. Neither tool is free,
unfortunately. Perhaps other people can help chip in with suggestions?

I used Excel - set the column width to something near 2 and you can
use a different color for each process and/or use the "borders"
function to draw lines around the cell(s). Then you can type the
process number inside the color / border. When finished, cut & paste
into Word.

I believe Visio can be downloaded by "MSDN Academic Alliance Program"
free download for IIT CS students (I downloaded Visio like 2 years
ago), but my preference for this assignment is Excel.
