First of all, email me if you're interested in continuing your project
in the Spring! You can get course credit for your work, most likely
cs370 independent research.
You can also join the "FRI lab rotation program", which gives
sophomores who are exiting the FRI program an opportunity to check out
the research at another lab. For example there's an interesting
opportunity for a "computationally inclined" student to do research on
mathematical epidemiology and theoretical evolutionary biology... I'll
forward more information about that in a bit.
Finally, the Undergrad Research Forum at the end of spring is a great
opportunity to present your work and win awards and scholarships. If
you're continuing your project, you should definitely plan on
presenting a poster. Also, if you had FRI funding last summer, you
have to =)
Have a great Spring!
