Hey guys,

I have a somewhat odd special request for each of you.  I have an important job interview coming up and I'm trying to figure out a way to communicate to the interviewers why I am the best candidate for the job. I have decided that the best way to do that is not by me telling them, but by letting people I have worked with do it.

For the sake of making this work, I am requesting that each of you bring to class on Wednesday a sealed envelope, with your name on it, containing a document discussing all or some of the questions asked below.  I will give the envelopes, as well as a copy of this email, to my interviewers.  I will not at any time read the contents of these envelopes.

Please be honest about your answers and use your own words.  Do not pad this document for my sake, as it conceptually only works if the interviewer can believe in the legitimacy of the exercise.  If you feel comfortable, please include an email address so they can get in touch with you for verification/referrals.
