Hello,  our cs4750 group is going to be building a website.  We would like an instance of svn on icarus.  Can you set this up for us and give us all the information we need?

The following people will need access:
Spencer Dickson
Matt Dimond
Mike Bowers
Tyler Rasor

Can you set this up under this account?

Username:  md12007
Password:  Matthewcs!

Please let us know if there are any problems, or when it is set up.

Thanks,

Spencer Dickson

Accounts have been created as follows (username  password).  Pass this info on to the rest of your team.  Please don't post username password combinations anywhere on the cloud.
4750111sdickson  Spencercs!
4750111mdimond  Mattcs!
4750111mbowers  Mikecs!
4750111trasor  Tylercs!

As for the repository, those reside on icarus in a pre-defined location.  You just create your own repository, make the start of the name 4750111 so we know what class it's for.  If you don't start the name with that, it could get removed whenever we clean out the repository.  Only create a single repository for your project unless you get permission for more.

So apparently my computer sucks when compared to Matt's superior linux, and as a result, has cost me drinks... Mike, what is your drink of choice? Matt, I have you for Mt. Dew, Spencer for Pepsi.  My computer has shamed me....

…you let yourself get bested by Linux.  Shame indeed.  I believe I would like to enjoy a orange soda or Dr. Pepper.

Apparently we lost some points last semester regarding the absence of Use cases - casual description, and Uses Cases - Full Description. If anybody wants to throw something together, I will include it in this update.

I don't know if it is even necessary as Ted still hasn't even posted an assignment for this so who knows what he actually wants beside the updated Project plan. As usual we are guessing with the SRSS documentation....

Anyway, throwing it out there. My guess is that he won't even look at the document beside the project plan, which I also believe 3 weeks from now he will never look at again despite what he is saying now.

I will send another email tomorrow with the project plan for your review.

Um, I am okay with letting it lie as is. If anyone thinks otherwise please speak up. Mike, were you able to get connected to subversion via netbeans?

Here is th spreadsheet showing who is assigned what and when it is due.  It is still in progress so if information seems missing when you look at it, it will be fully updated by end of day Tuesday.

Spencer and I were able to finish up the CSS in class.  We came up with a plan for when we want to populate bug data.  See Below:

Data Population Plan:
Each person will...
Create their own user/login using the admin//admin default login.
    Create 3 applications.
    Create 3 bugs per application.
Resolve at random 4 bugs that you created.

At the end, we will have:
    12 Applications
    36 Total Bugs
    20 Open Bugs
    16 Completed Bugs

This should be a good amount of data to show off the bug tracker.

Guidelines:
Use realistic data when creating applications/bugs/notes/steps

Ted has also given us an assignment to Demo our product on April 6th.

All bugs were being set with a resolved date of JAN 1 1970
All bugs were being set with a resolved by = to the found by field
Reports were showing the dates of JAN 1 1970
3 ways to show bug was resolved, had to adjust searches to accomodate
Created "Show Resolved" button on my projects (enhancement)
Notes were always created with an attachment
Search results not clickable by row
Assigned to employee is no longer required - allowing a bug not to be assigned to anyone
Remove test mode - when sqls fail, statement was being echoed to the screen
