It has been awhile!  How are you?  I recently relocated back to the West Coast but am now up in the LA area working for a company called Advantage Sales and Marketing.  I would love to schedule another catch-up lunch with you and Dr. Glick after the new year.

 

The main reason I am writing to you however, is that my company is currently seeking some new talent and I thought I would tap your department.  I am currently supporting a system called Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Customer Relationship Management) which is the workflow automation software that basically runs the marketing arm of this company.  The platform is .NET based and we have a number of customizations built on top of it in C# and Javascript, there is also a large amount of SQL work involved as well.  I was hoping that you may be able to put the word out that I am recruiting your best and brightest to come join our team.

 

It is a really great opportunity because they are essentially coming in on the ground floor.  I am the first in-house developer they have hired and we are in the process of taking over development from a contracting firm that has failed to meet expectations to say the least.  I would love to speak with you more about it on the phone and then we can go from there.
