WEB QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
Web Quality Assurance Analyst
Mission
As web quality assurance analyst/tester, under the responsibility of
the Web Technical Leader, he/she will participate to implement new
e-retail solutions and ensure a seamless transition from legacy
software systems to new platforms. He/she will have also an active
role in the quality assurance and release management processes.
Tasks
• Build and maintain good knowledge and understanding of the intended
solution by reviewing the functional and design specifications, and
participating in project workshops and information meetings
• Apply test methodology and solution knowledge to create test plans,
test scenarios and scripts. Test plans should cover all necessary
measures of the solution in terms of performance, reliability
stability and compliancy with the design
• Prepare and refresh test environments and test scripts for each
release or change, for: System testing, Integration testing,
Non-regression testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Live User Testing
• Run scripts (or manually execute tests) and generate quality assurance reports
• Support providers and the internal team in debugging issues
• Under the supervision of IT web leader, review and optimize
continuously the quality assurance process to guarantee a timely
completion and complete elimination of solution's faults before

• Define and maintain the tools and the infrastructure to conduct an
optimal and efficient quality assurance activities
• Conduct regular and adhoc IT audits on the e-retail environment.
With the support of the Web technical team, he/she will analyse audit
reports and provide recommendation and corrective actions whenever
required
Profile
• Bachelor degree in IT, or equivalent through experience
• Proven experience IT technical testing
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business language
• Autonomous and flexible
• Eager to learn
• Be able to work quickly, calm under pressure
• Fluent written and spoken English and French or Dutch
• Fair knowledge in IT technologies, mainly related to: Network,
connectivity and interfacing, SOA, Workflow, web design, Online
booking engines
• Experience in ITIL best practices and release management
• ISTQB certification is desirable
• Experience in Airlines and /or e-commerce industry is a big asset
• Web developing experience is an asset
• Fair knowledge of Javascript, JQuery, CSS, HTLM, XML, SOAP, HTML5,
CMS, WS* Standards, Middleware concept.
