Today, starting at 3PM, we'll have demo day. Through an entirely
capricious and arbitrary process, I've decided on an order (OK, so
it's alphabetical!):
Dino
Jello, or SlowLSM (that's what Marek told me to call it!)
SketchMesh
Team Venture
1. We'll start with (a) course evaluations, (b) an introduction to
whatever audience happens to be present, and (c) pizza-topping choices
for the end-of-demos pizza.
During this time, team "Dino" will be setting up their presentation
to be sure the projector works, etc.
2. Team Dino will present. [see below]. Questions will follow. While
they're answering questions (or after, if they need the computer to
answer them), team Jello will be setting up. At the end of the
presentation, the TAs and I will step outside to discuss grading,
while team Jello sets up. When we return, team Jello presents.
This process repeats until we're done, when we all eat pizza.

Presentations: You need to tell us what you're going to show us. Your
pitch should be understandable to a bright CS Sophomore. Of course,
when you get into details, it's OK if the pitch is aimed more at your
classmates than the sophs. Be sure to indicate what you did that's
above and beyond whatever was done in the paper you worked from.
Suggestion: Once you say what you're doing, give a quick teaser of a
demo -- just something so that everyone understands what the terms
you're using mean. If you're team jello, this might be just a demo
where a single triangle is encased in a cube, and you move a cube-
vertex, and we see the triangle deform.
THEN go on with some more details, and give us the full-blown demo at
the end.
Be sure to let us know when you're done (a "thanks to people who
helped us" slide is a good cue!) so we know when to applaud.
See you at 3.
