odd behavior with delaying scripts

Hi. I have something funny I can't figure out. In my version before
a split payload (http://www.stanford.edu/~mjabon/CytobankProject2/
CytobankVer10.html) my one script, which is at the very bottom of my
file downloads inbetween the two images in the waterfall chart.
Shouldn't it be at the end? I end up getting no improvement when I
use splitting the payload (http://www.stanford.edu/~mjabon/
CytobankProject3/CytobankVer15.html) and I can't figure out why? Any
ideas?
