What you did: Worked on some front end touch ups and revised the SRS.
Plans for next week: Fix the remaining bugs with the UI.
Challenges: Couldn't identify some of the causes behind the problems.
Lessons Learned: Start early on bug fixes and check previously bug free code for the error

What you did: implemented map binding, fixed directions link, updated display of list items, completed SRS modifications
Plans for next week: fix bug with map binding for duplicate deal venues
Challenges: null string error for duplicate deal venues, making document deadlines
Lessons Learned:
be more thorough in checking correctness of feature functionality, prioritize documents better

What you did: worked on facebook events, speed up the application
Plans for next week: I think it will be trying different things to speed up the app
Challenges: Facebook integration is way too complicated in GWT to be implemented, the facebook Javascript API which works otherwise, fails to work with GWT.
Some inherent issues with GWT due to which application cannot run remarkably faster.
Lessons Learned: do proper ground work before proposing to implement a feature (FB event)

What you did: Alphabetized the map markers to correspond to each list entry. Additional work to handle duplicates.
Plans for next week: Primarily work on second map display. Clean up the many redundancies that now exist when it comes to the MapWidget and the Markers. Refine code.
Challenges: The event handling overhaul made some functions more difficult to implement.
Lessons Learned: Fully understand every change made to the project, especially ones that fundamentally change how the code works.

What you did: Add radius and limit the # of results in the search box. Working on tech spec. (both in progress right now!)
Plans for next week: Finish tech spec by Thursday. Help fix any remaining bugs.
Challenges: Several quirks in GWT Bootstrap. Keeping up with the commits.
Lessons Learned: Follow commits closely. Open source projects aren't perfect. Should help improve them when bugs arise.

What you did:
- Changed the model/events so that everything is stored in Deals.
- Tidied up the code.
- Lazy loading for initial deal load.
Plans for next week:
- Continue work on lazy loading for infinite scroll.
- Assist with Google Maps/List Widget communication
- Optimize for performance
- Re-examine FB events
Challenges:
- There's a lot of work and not enough time.
Lessons Learned:
- Start early.
