Hello,

Here's the highlights report for the week:

Who did what:

Aditya: finished main social media integration

Nima: finished implementing DirectionService on backend, fixed bugs, implemented infinite scroll, worked on tech spec

David: implemented location widget change address, worked on tech spec

Uen-Tao and Andrew: added to mapwidget features: map updates deals when map location is changed, if deal is selected, deal is centered on, etc

Stephanie: finished filter widget functionality, fixed bugs, worked on general layout

Jessica: worked on srs, deals layout

Rohit: worked on srs, deals layout

Challenges:

Documentation requirements are misleading, we need to spend more time on our SRS and tech spec

Deal loading is slow (Nima will look for solution)

  Bugs in GWT-Bootstrap project

Lessons Learned:

Need to spend more time on documentation

Next week:

   Aditya: FB event button

Nima: help with integration, fix bugs, etc

David: work on tech spec, improve locationwidget ui

Uen-Tao and Andrew: integrate mapwidget with listitemwidget, custom labels, fix mapwidget-related bugs

Stephanie: work on design for main page, improve filterwidget ui

Jessica and Rohit: finish adding directions to deal display, do map binding, work on SRS

On Schedule? Yes

Thanks,

Stephanie Tung

Directions have been added.. but it bothers me that the start and end point are in latitude/longitude coordinates since thats how the parameters are passed. Is it worth looking into to change the text to the English/word addresses or focus on the map binding first?

Stephanie,

Everything seems to be progressing well. It's good to have a larger team since the class requirements were not clear.

For the next weekly report, please include URL links to project documents, source repository, and online demo site.

Next week, it would be good to show the website to friends and incorporate feedback into the final presentation and report.
