This film won the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes in 1996, and was on both
Ebert's and Martin Scorsese's top 10 of the 1990s. One of the most
devastating movies I've seen, this movie challenges ideas about life,
religion, and love. **
After, we'll watch Episode 4 of Ingmar Bergman's 'Scenes from a
Marriage'. ***

* I recommend against reading any reviews, since the major plot
development happens about halfway in, and all reviews put it at like
the first line. You can't even open the imdb page without reading it.
** I still want to do the Wednesday Movie Night, in contrast to the
Thursday Film Series; right now the decision is between Sin City,
Batman Begins and the Pilot episode of Firefly.
