It is good to hear from you and we are sorry to hear about Lacey. We too have a Lacey. We rescued her from death row about 2 years ago. She is white. She is now about 3 yrs old. We lost two of our babies in Jan. Our small ones, Candy and Winston (Poodle and Pom). I have a couple of friends that are very involved with Boxer rescue so PLEASE let me see what they can come up with before you go to a breeder. I would love for you to get a rescue.

 

Hope you have been doing some diving. We have been on a cruise every year. We are getting ready to mover to MD to be close to our first grandchild. But I will put you in good hands with three ladies. Crystal, Ute and Samantha.

Hope all is well with you guys.   Are you all still involved with the Boxer Rescue?   If so I wanted to mention we lost Lacey this past February.   We were lucky to have her as part of the family for 11 ½ years but that does not make it any easier.    We’ve been looking for a boxer puppy and may have a breeder that could work out however his female is just now coming into heat.   The show dog breeders are simply too expensive – saw a lovely flashy fawn female but she was 1500!

 

I’ve looked at the BR site several times and seen older boxers.   If you all happen to come across a puppy or a boxer not any older than one year we may be interested.   After the lengthy list of health issues with Lacey over the last few years and their short lifespan we don’t want to get an older dog that has us parting with a family member any sooner than needed.   That may be selfish but it is better to be honest.

Well I can't say that I am glad to be home from the cruise. Fourteen days sure do go by fast. We really enjoyed our time diving and are trying to plan some diving again.

 

I wanted to send you this email so that maybe you could pass it along or if there is anyone you know that is looking for a Boxer you could point them in our direction. Sorry about the solicitation but I will do anything for the dogs!! I can't help myself. I hope your baby is doing good after being gone for a while. Tonka lost 10 pounds. But has gained most of it back. Anyway, it was great talking and diving with you and Ryan and hope someday to do it again. Sorry if I was a little chatty.
