The hyperbolic perfection of timeheal, the timeraise spell reverses the temporal process to restore all damage and adverse conditions inflicted upon a single creature, up to and including the reversal of death. Timeraise can remove death, disease, paralysis, petrification, polymorph, insanity, blindness, deafness, energy drain, ability drain, magical aging, and even disintegration. Only magic which causes the actual destruction of the mortal spirit is definitively irreversible. Otherwise, some traces of the body must be present and tangible, so imprisonment and plane shift effects may effectively prevent use of this spell. As a chronomantic spell, timeraise simulates healing and resurrection without recourse to divine magic or necromancy.
The chronomancer is certain to reverse the ravages of time by one minute
per level. A greater reach of reversal may be attempted, but there is a 5% cumulative chance of spell failure per minute beyond this limit, which is cumulative with any chance of spell failure due to arcane armour restrictions. Multiple timeraise spells are futile and do not increase this temporal reach.
It possible to use this spell offensively, by reversing time
upon a creature who has recently received sny form of healing. A successful touch attack is required.
