Assuming you survive, she is potentially valuable. Jessica's young and not influential, but she is a practicing surgeon's apprentice in the Varne, and can be pulled for nonjudgmental emergency healing or potion access. She also has a distant if working relationship with Clarissa the Poisoner through her work at the Red Carpet Emporium.
Alcide receives Christine Wittstruck as a contact. Christine is CR 2, and you receive 600 XP. That sounds sad. But, actually, Christine comes from an elven family on her mother's side, her father owns a mill on the Bysmic Vaire, and her extended family is quite important is the Beryl Republic, Carnelian's sister commonweatlh. And Alcide has precisely the sort of family contacts (and literacy) to make maintaining further contacts across international distances practical. So, depending on whether or not you both survive the Abyss and on how things go, we may actually be revisiting the socially adjusted effective challenge rating for Christine.... One fortune point to Alcide for insisting on acquiring her!
