Abbess Lucretia, Carmen, Baoyun, and two Agathene susters defeated:

"the Sightless", petty vampire (CR 7)

player character XP:
Baoyun: 640

The DM rules that you've also defeated Father Rousas Abrahmo. Why? Well, you've convinced Abbess Lucretia that he's attempted to murder the Doge of the Carnelian Republic... and that's pretty much the same as killing the Father as an effective influence within your sphere of society. It's not that the Church wouldn't like to see the Scarlet Republic and its scandalous Doge go down, of course. But getting caught in an act of war places the Church in a compromising position, and throwing Abrahmo to the dire sharks is much better than, say, admitting that whole Orders within the Church (and the Archbishop himself) would love to stake Marc and destroy the Republic. Abbess Lucretia is known for her absolute honesty and half a lifetime of selfless service to the Church, so her word means Abrahmo's in for a very rough time. The Archbishopric of Heiros is a sovereign state, and we may be assured it will make a dramatic show of pronouncing just sentence for his temporal crimes. Remember that they really want him out of the way. Burning at the stake is pretty dramatic.

And, if you like revenge, please keep in mind the teaching of the Legion of the Archangel Michael: that he who entirely loves the Celestial Lord will be willing to sacrifice not only his life to God, but also his soul. Taking inspiration from the late Pierre Erebos, poet of Nationalism, the Legion prepares its members to commit sins for which a righteous God can only give damnation. Thus shall a Celestialist Japteth be restored. To be a Legionnaire is to experience the sublime purity of being willing to give everything, for all eternity. Unto the burning blood of Phlegethos or the drowning oceans of Stygia.

Abrahmo acted as a faithful soldier of the Legion, and his example will doubtless be honoured within his ranks. You see, treachery to guests kinda is a pretty serious sin, and repenting in his heart would violate the ethos of the Legion. I think Vicar Joseph can take it from there as to how God's judgment works. I've included a picture of the Ring of Ptolomea within Cocytus, the Ice Hell of Treachery, for your amusement.

Anyway, Abbess Lucretia, Marc, Joseph, Baoyun, the Ambassador, Percé, Raime, and Lio defeated:

Father Rousas Abrahmo (CR 13)

player character (and cohort) XP:
Marc: 3,200
Joseph: 3,200
Baoyun: 3,200
Ambassador: 3,200
(note: I am completely ignoring the standard cohort XP rules)
Percé: 3,200
Raime: 3,200
Lio: 3,200

Story XP:
Marc: 1,625
Joseph: 1,625
Baoyun: 3,250 +1 fortune point
Ambassador: 812

Most of these totals are lower than they would otherwise be, as not all adventure objectives were achieved. The fate of Carnelian Citizens diverted to St. Agatha's Asylum for the Fallen has not been resolved, and it's now a diplomatic matter for Carnelian's ambassador to the Archbishopric of Heiros (that would be Vicar Joseph). It's also a matter of the liberté of Carnelian citizens under the Declaration of the Rights of Beings of Reason, which means Angolio and Mika on the Declaratory Court will have to get involved. Not to mention Inspector Durant, who considers the matter both a breach of laicite and an unconscionable miscarriage of justice. Those criminals should be in the Sombre Bastion turning the wheel.

Baoyun, however, deserves full XP for his magnificent escape from the Sanctuary, as well as being the small stone which dislodged a political avalanche onto Father Abrahmo's head.

Total XP awards for "Sanctuary":
Marc: 4,825
Joseph: 4,825
Baoyun: 7,090 +1 fortune point
Ambassador: 4,012
Percé: 3,200
Raime: 3,200
Lio:3,200

Baoyun is doubtless learning the valuable lesson that hanging out with people way above his station causes a rapid gain in the favour of Fortune. Also, it nearly gets him killed.

Freude, schöner Götterfunken
Tochter aus Elysium,
Wir betreten feuertrunken,
Himmlische, dein Heiligtum!
Deine Zauber binden wieder
Was die Mode streng geteilt.
Alle Menschen werden Brüder
Wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt.
