I live in Montreal with my husband and our four children. I was very
involved with crystals about 15 years ago but somehow lost touch with
them. Recently, I felt them calling me back.
It started with a Labradorite sphere last year, it 'told' me to go
further into what brings me joy. That sphere now lives in a crystal
lending library (it was Labradorite's idea!)
Now my favourites are Selenite, black Tourmaline, and Topaz. I hope
to acquire some Citrine and green Tourmaline next.
It feels great to be back in the land of crystal healing...there is so
much to learn! Of course I gave all my books away too so am starting
from scratch. I noticed that there are 7 Melody books now!!
Which books would you suggest?
thank you,
Andrea
Its lovely to hear from you! You are most welcome here and I hope you
find everything you are looking for.
It's funny my collection of crystals began with a Labradorite sphere
too!
It sits on my hearth where I keep my candles and seems to like it
there. I find it helps protect my psyche very strongly. It is also
fantastic to just gaze at its so sparkly and seems to have an "eye to
the stars" in it.
Good choices I have recently found a Selenite obelisk and have some
Silver Topaz pebbles. I do have both Black and Green Tourmaline though
I would like to work more with the Green. I have read Green brings you
closer to nature and that would be a lovely thing so perhaps thats for
the spring.
I am sorry you are without your books I've done that myself with my
favourite books at times passed them on and then felt the need to dip
in again.
The books I recommend are Melody - Love Is In the Earth, this one is
the essential guide, "Laying-on-of-Stones" is another good one from
Melody as is the Pictorial Guide if you need to identify crystals.
Another good writer is Hazel Raven, she has two good books linked to
Crystals the first "The Complete Practioners Guide" and the second "A
Journey through the Chakras". I have just found a lovely one by Doreen
Virtue called Crystal Therapy. There are others including one by Luc
Bourghault which I have in my collection.
I hope this helps.
Hope you find your Green Tourmaline and some Citrine which I am sure
will brighten up your life!
Kind Blessings
