Band Membership Subs Due for 2024/5

Dear Members,

 

Membership subscriptions for Crystal Palace Brass Bands run from April to March each year, so subscriptions for 2024/5 are now due.  As outlined at this year’s AGM, additional costs have been taken on by the band this year in the form of monthly storage rental and a paid MD for the Main Band.  Accordingly, subscription levels have had to rise this year to cover the cost of running the bands. 

 

Annual subscription levels set at the AGM are now at the following levels:

• Young persons (under 18 years) - £60 regardless of which bands you play in
• Adults playing in The Progress Band only - £140
• Adults who play in The Main Band - £200

 

If you play in The Progress Band and The Main Band, you only need to pay the £200 Main Band subscription.

 

Subscriptions can be paid via a one-off lump sum, or in instalments.  If you choose to pay in instalments, it will make the treasurer’s role much easier if you could create a standing order (preferably monthly).

 

Those who already pay by standing order will have already paid their April instalment.  You will need to work out how much is remaining for your annual subscription, divide that by the 11 months remaining and amend your standing order for the rest of the year.

As raised by a member at the AGM, if personal circumstances allow, and you feel you’d like to pay a little extra on top of your subscription, it would always be appreciated, but by no means expected.
