Dave Mansfield Memorial/Celebration service being held this afternoon at St James’s Church, Elmers End BR3 4HF

To all those who remember Dave from his playing  contributions to both the Main Band and Progress Band on Eb Bass until his untimely passing away early in 2020 …

Sincere apologies for the very late notice on this, but if you’re free this afternoon (Sunday 8th May) there is a Memorial/Celebration service for the life of Dave Mansfield being held from 2:45pm (for about an hour) at St James’s Church, St James’s Avenue, Beckenham BR3 4HF (which is just off of Elmers End roundabout).

There is also an informal reception after the service which is open to all present.

Beckenham Concert Band are performing as part of the service (including favourite concert items of Dave’s), and myself and Martin Garnett will be playing in the band dressed in CPB uniform.

It was be great if there were some representation from “CPB” in the audience.

P.S. can someone within the Progress Band Googlemail group please forward this on to the Progress Band as I don’t have the access to do so.
