Hello to all members of Crystal Palace Brass Bands.

 

This email serves as a heads up that planning is underway for Crystal Palace Brass Bands to take part in this year’s Whit Marches event in Saddleworth, Lancs.

 

A small subcommittee is being formed to drive forward the arrangements.

 

David Charlesworth and Cath Lord have kindly stepped forward to own the organising. In the next few days David will send round some detailed information to the membership. There will be some important actions for all members of the band (main and progress), relating to participation (or not), accommodation needs and payment of an initial accommodation deposit. As well as the email that David will send out to the membership, David is planning to organise a Zoom for anyone to attend such that details can be discussed and specific points can be clarified as necessary.

 

David and Cath will specify how quickly we need clarity on commitment and hence numbers, but it will need to be within a few days to a week at most. We are late in organising details and booking accommodation etc. Please be prompt to reply when you are asked to make decisions and provide information.
