I hope everyone is looking forward to the AGM being held between the two rehearsals Wednesday this week.

Ahead of the meeting, here is a link to some reports from the exec.

It would be great if you could have a look. In particular can I draw your attention to the safeguarding document - this being a vital topic for our band as we move forward.

There will be an opportunity during the meeting to ask questions about the content and related topics.

There is some good stuff in there.

Not every report is available yet. These will be added to the same location when available. I will also be adding an agenda.

Best regards, Andrew (Chair)

24 April 2024

1.    Welcome. With the permission of the meeting, photographs of people present will be taken in order we record attendance. These photographs will be deleted once a list of attendees has been created. Andrew Rixon (Chair)

2.    Review and accept previous minutes. Andrew

3.    Update regarding exec membership and that some people are standing down and need replacing with new people from the membership across both bands. This will necessitate a short delay in the exec elections. Andrew

4.    Vote to postpone elections (for new Exec) 2-4 weeks (date to be agreed during the meeting) in order to allow additional individuals to step forward to replace some of the key individuals who have decided to stand down. This will need to proposed and seconded, and then agreed by show of hands of the meeting. Andrew

5.    Finance update, including vote to accept new subscription levels. Mike Cook (Treasurer)

6.    Safeguarding update. Liz Horsfield

7.    AGM reports. Opportunity to ask questions of the exec, Review and accept the AGM reports. Andrew
