I have downloaded the latest version.

when I have configured the database.php, is there anything more I have to do before using?

 

and - how do I use it?

do I simply call

<? require_once('../crystal/Crystal.php'); ?>

in a script?

Yes that's all you need to do. If you are using a framework or
something like that include the file in index.php

and after that in the model just assign it to a variable. $this->db =
Crystal::db();
