RSA/OAEP PADDING KEY SIZE?

Do you think padding can lead to increase in key size ? for example : RSA /no mode / OAEP padding (yeah in Java).I read with oaep rsa key size changes from 256 to 384 bits, I am not sure if we can do padding for both message and key...

Even if there is any protocol that does so, it must have different reasons that to with specific way only
