Hi all,
There was some talk about this when we started spinning up the Underhanded Crypto Contest, and now that the contest for 2014 is close to wrapping up, thought this would be a good time to start talking about it again.
In an email exchange with Whitney, we were talking about announcing the winners of the 2015 contest at the Crypto Village - it would be a good venue to announce at, and would help to promote each other. Is this something you all are still interested in doing?
The idea I had suggested was to announce the winners of the main contest, and do a “lighting round” challenge - could be a multi-day thing with the details announced on the opening day and the winner announced on the closing day, or a one day event, with the winners announced at the end of the day the details are provided (due to time constraints, the lighting round would likely have different judges). This could be a good event to get some more attention, and get some extra engagement for the Crypto Village.
What do you all think?
