I plan on making some more posters for this year (although I'm unsure what to do about wallspace).

I found these as well, they seem pretty cool:

Nice! Maybe we can find out the room layout ahead of time and get some hardware to attach the posters to the walls? An alternative would be to get easels.

We might have to do everything on easels. My understanding is since DEFCON is moving to Ballys/Paris this year, the layout is going to be a lot different, namely there will be a lot of space but not a lot of walls...

I wonder if we can attach fishing line from the ceiling and hang the posters and form our own temporary walls with them.

Those are quite nice, I'm guessing they'd go over very well. Based on the number of people that took pictures of the posters last year - they seem to be a good idea.

Has the space been defined yet for next year? As I recall, there was an issue around lots of floor space but not enough rooms - so will the Crypto Village actually be segregated at all, or just be in the corner of a larger space with others?

Interesting, if people are taking lots of pictures of these posters, we could put some kind of url or qr code in the bottom corner of the images for people to get to the original high quality ones.

There are vectorized PDFs of practically everything on the web site:

These posters look great! Any word on official logo/design stuff? Id love to have a reusable, nice sign that we can hang somewhere.

I wonder when we will find out about space... Since it's the new year, we may want to start up a google doc to do list too.

Will anyone be at Shmoo?

I am sure that anything hung from the ceiling will have to be done by the hotel => $$$. Plus the creation of temporary walls might annoy the fire marshal, etc. Lots of considerations.

This will probably get covered in the Contests and Events kickoff meeting. I'm expecting lots of people will be curious about how to handle signage this year.

Clearly we didn't do so awesome last year but I think it worked ok. We should definitely try to have a larger, more obvious sign this year.

Yah, hopefully we can get a good graphic/art for the space no matter what happens with the layout.

Last year I was hoping to do an entire poster series on the Crypto Wars. Hopefully I can get it done this year. One on elliptic curve cryptography would be cool too.

I've re-done the posters in a new album that are in the suggested size and ratio (should be less ink for the printers too)

vectorized PDF is also available as an option if needed

Cool! I'd definitely like to snag some PDFs if I can. They're the easiest for me to print (and should look the best too)
