Hey there everyone,

I've spent the past week or so fleshing out the design of immutable files:


The goal of this design is to provide a simple encryption primitive on top of which more complex "Merkelized" data structures can be constructed.

Files represent the storage primitive for all persistent state in the system. This design allows for files to be retrieved and authenticated incrementally (in 1MB chunks). File integrity can also be checked by a verifier who can't read the contents.
