after much tweaking, i was finally able to compile the latest sgminer sa ubunto, pero same lang nakuha kong hash rate sa cgminer

Guys,

This looks promising

1 300khash for 7watts only? cute pa ng itsura parang fan na heatsink lang.

do you think totoo to? or if ever totoo nga, mga ilang buwan nman ang delivery nito dito sa pinas? haha! i doubt it.

nakuha din nito interest ko and i made a comparison

gridseed (2x) HD 7850 (x2) 280x 750 ti (2x)
Hashrate 700 kh/s 800 kh/s 800 kh/s 600 kh/s
Power 14w 240w 250w? 120w
Cost 20520* 15400** 13800*** 13998****

- ang laki talaga ng advantage ng gridseed when it comes to power, incomparable
- sa portability, gridseed din panalo, no more need for risers, psu motherboard, cpu... USB hub lang and 12V 30A 360w DC industrial power supply

conclusion: if you have the money, i think gridseed is the way to go

* $228 x 2 x 45 = Php 20.520 (need power supply and 2.5mm DC power cable)
** php 7,700 x 2 = 15400 (from Easy PC)
*** 13,800 from Pwnshop (TipidPC)
**** 6999 x 2 = 13998 (dynaquestpc)

problem is, they say it only does scrypt.

ah yes, forgot about that, if ever scrypt mining becomes unprofitable, cant dispose of it since specific use lang sya which is scrypt/sha256 mining, i guess best is to fall back to BTC mining at 11.25GH/s or $0.80 daily

sa gpu, you can sell it or use it for gaming

@slide and @Istvan

thanks for this info! i am not aware of this gridseed yet, is this the same i posted above? like hashmaster or something?

if yes, does anyone in the TPC are now selling this gridseed?

can you provide the username of our fellow tpc that is now currently selling this one?

anyway, that is the downside of using this gridseed / hashmaster as its not for dual purpose mining like scrypt/sha256 @ 3 MH/S Scrypt & 80 GH/S SHA

updates:

I did some google on this one gridseed and they are now offering both scrypt/sha256 mode but it cost a lot $2,250 .

Guys,

@Istvan

thanks for this info, this will help me decide which one to purchase if gridseed or this one since this usb miner is much more cheaper compare to gridseed. but the problem is when it delivered here in our country the custom is always pain in the ass when we are going to get the item. I asked as question on bitcoin forum about taxes here in the philippines and one of our pinoy miner answer my question about the bad experience he had on our custom here in our country.

I'm in the Philippines, too.  I ordered from ZH last month and I got the order in 4 days via Fedex.  Cost to ship will be given to you when you check out.  You will definitely pay taxes with the amount depending on the customs examiners mood on that day.  You will also have to pay additional fees (storage, IP, etc..).
I recently ordered again which hasn't gone as smoothly as the last time.  I put in an substantial order last April 1 which which was supposed to be with me in 2-4 Business days.  Based on the tracking info, it shipped from HK April 5 and arrived in the Philippines April 6.  It's been stuck with DHL/Customs to this day.  I've called DHL a couple of times and it looks like I'll have to jump through a couple of hoops to get my package and might loose an arm and a leg.  I tried to contact support to get a copy of the documentation that's with the package for when I deal with customs but response has been slow compared to before.  Sad thing is, the units have undergone a price reduction twice (I think) since I put in the order.  It's a pretty significant amount if I add the savings if I had ordered later to the lost time mining.  If I do order again, I'll use my consolidator in HK.  It will cost extra but at least I'll know what I'll actually be paying.  Hope you have better luck with your order.

Hi Micheal@zoomhash
I just visited your site and discovered your gridseed is out of stock. is this true? I was planning to order but just want to confirm if you still have stock in your store.
I live in the Philippines so how much shipping cost will add to my order? and how many days it will take for me to get the item?
also do i have to pay additional taxes when it delivered here in my country before i get it?
thanks!

depending on the courier, pede maka iwas dumaan sa customs yung unit. if you avail of Johnny Air Cargo for example, kasama na yung tax mo sa total payment. at least fixed ito at wala na hidden charges. iwas init ng ulo pa.

anyway, BTT, thanks for these updates. so far the technology for ASIC is being made available for consumers like us. ito talaga ang cutting edge mining kasi sobrang efficient in terms of hashing vs power costs.

has anyone here tried the blade miner? ASIC for scrypt. good price and low power consumption with USB interface.

Hi Guys!

its good to be back again here after a month not visiting this site due to the fact na wala na akong pang mine hehe!

I need your help guys, I recently visited hashmaster site and i happen to view their new product in line.

You can rent a their mining rig for a fraction of 299 for 1MH for 1yr and 24/7 running without downtime / no electricity cost / internet cost / maintenance cost.

do you think guys its not bad to try it out?

I am thinking to avail their 1MH for 299 for testing since i can get my ROI for 6months and doublemy investment in 1yr.

do you prefer to buy a mining rig and let your miner mine on your house with worrying that our electric company turn on and off our electricity that makes our mining rig not running and lost a few hours of penny.

or rent a mine like this and we dont worry to pay our electricity bills / internet bills / losing electricity instead stable flow of income 24/7 for 12months.

what say you guys??

It's really a Good Idea to do Cloud Mining since power failures and bills are killing us here in the philippines.

But the main concern here is that are they true to their intentions?

What if Pools go down do they have back up pools? do you just give them your scrypt coin wallet address after payment?

179.99usd is pretty much a big chunk of money and if you are swindled, you can't just go back at them because you can't find them locally
