I want to share info re my 6850 Toxic. I did a variable intensity study and these are the results:

cgminer amd ccc
Intensity Hashrate Unit Activity GPU clk Unit Mem clk Unit Temp Unit Fan
8 17 - 18 Kh/s 96% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 62 C 45%
9 35 - 36 Kh/s 96% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 65 C 45%
10 70 - 74 Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 68 C 45%
11 140 - 150 Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 70 C 55%
12 134 - 135 Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 68 C 60%

Notes:
1.I call attention to #s for intensity=12, where the kh/s actually goes down.
2.As the intensity rises, the video becomes more unresponsive.
3.I tried intensity 15 for a brief time, did not burn-test by any means, just FYI the hashrate at I=15 was around 200kh/s
4.I read in another forum that Intensity=18 yielded 270kh/s (not indicated kung toxic yun 6850 nya)

BTW, yun intensity 12 ay useable pa rin naman ang pc. Nkakapag FB, word at excel pa rin ako. Pero since I=12 yields lower hashrate than I=11, I stick to I=11 na lang. I use the PC 10-16 hrs a day, so based on current difficulty of 1771, i can get 340 - 540 doge a day (konti ano?)

Ang kulang sa data ko sa itaas ay yun watts used for the different intensity levels. I will buy ang OMNI brand watt meter next week so I can collect this data.

BTW, a request: I hope somebody can post numbers din for R9-280X based on the different intensity levels. KUng pwede sana pati yun watts used at those intensity levels.

Ang balak ko kc as next step is to buy 1unit lang muna R9-280X and do side-farming.. the info would help very very much =)

I have additional info to share. This time, meron na ako data re watts used with the varying intensity. U can see table below, expansion lang sya ng table sa itaas:

cgminer amd ccc Date of Reading Baseline Wattage Incremental Other Notes
Intensity Hashrate Unit Activity GPU clk Unit Mem clk Unit Temp Unit Fan
220 W Watt usage

8 17 - 18 Kh/s 96% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 62 C 45%
1/26/2014 245 W - 55% fan 25

9 35 - 36 Kh/s 96% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 65 C 45%
1/26/2014 250 W - 55% fan 30

10 70 - 74 Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 68 C 45%
1/26/2014 260 W - 55% fan 40

11 140 - 150 Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 70 C 55%
1/26/2014 277 W - 55% fan 57

12 134 - 135 Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz 68 C 60%
1/26/2014 272 W - 55% fan 52

13 172 - 178
Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz
71 C 60% 1/26/2014 284 W - 60% fan 64 PC is now unresponsive
14 192 - 195
Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz
72 C 60% 1/26/2014 292 W - 60% fan 72 PC is very laggy
15 212 - 218
Kh/s 98% 820 MHz 1100 MHz
74 C 60% 1/26/2014 298 W - 60% fan 78 PC is almost unuseable

Note: my baseline wattage includes all electricals sa mesa ko, 2 pc monitors, switch hub, 2 UPS, dsl modem, etc.

I'm really hoping somebody can provide similar data for higher end video card like the R9-280X.

Anyway, what do the numbers mean, right? Ito yun analysis ko:

I choose intensity 11 for my normal usage lang. I use PC 10 hrs a day, for example, so I mine 10hrs a day at 148kh/s. based sa calculator, my DOGE yield is about 50 / hour. In 1 day, that's 500 DOGE based on 10 hrs mining time.

Electricity cost: kung 60w ang incremental electricity used sa mining, that's like I pay an extra Php0.78 per hour based on assumed 13pesos / KWH ng meralco.

So then I pay 0.78peso for each hour of mining, and in return I get 50doge, which is currently valued at 3.77 pisos. This means I get a staggering 2.99 pesos per hour that I use my computer. It sounds silly kung gagawin undertaking in this manner, pero basically it's a system that pays me for using my computer.

Tapos kung gagawa na ako ng actual mining rigs with max mining power.. to the moon na nga hehehe
