The Mining Story No One's Talking About (Yet)...

Dear Reader,

Lithium had its surge. Uranium has its cycle.

Now copper - and the metals behind electrification - are moving back into focus.

AI infrastructure is expanding rapidly. Grid upgrades are accelerating. Defense and aerospace demand persist.

Meanwhile, Washington is placing renewed emphasis on domestic supply.

In the U.S., this small explorer controls exposure to multiple critical metals just as this shift gains momentum.

Most commodity cycles don't announce themselves at the beginning.

They form quietly.

Until they don't.

Top Reddit Stocks Last Week: MSFT, TSLA, and GME

Reddit stayed focused on mega caps last week, but the biggest story was how fast attention shifted. Microsoft led all stocks with 2,951 mentions, followed by Tesla at 2,213 and GameStop at 1,728. But Palantir and Intel were also heavily discussed. Let's take a closer look.

Why Microsoft and Tesla took over the feed

Microsoft's jump looked driven by two competing narratives. One high-scoring post pushed a bearish angle around a headline that France was removing Microsoft from 2.5 million government devices. At the same time, other heavily engaged posts framed MSFT as a beaten-down long-term buy after a roughly 31% drop from its high, with debate centered on AI spending, Azure expectations, OpenAI exposure, and whether the selloff had gone too far. That helps explain why mentions surged while the stock barely moved and sentiment stayed neutral.

Tesla's spike was more straightforward and more negative. Reddit piled into a JPMorgan note warning of major downside after a Q1 delivery miss of about 7,600 units and a 50,000-unit inventory surplus. Another top post attacked Elon Musk's long-running promises around self-driving, the Roadster, robotaxis, and Optimus. Tesla still remains one of Reddit's biggest magnets, but last week's attention looked driven by skepticism and execution concerns more than optimism.

The freshest movers were Palantir and Intel

Palantir posted the biggest jump in attention, with mentions up 496.46% week over week, even as the stock fell 11.3%. The main catalyst was political. Reddit reacted to posts saying President Trump had publicly highlighted the stock, which created a burst of attention but not a clean bullish read. The follow-up discussion was choppy, with some traders leaning into the pump and others fading it.

Intel was another standout, with mentions up 174.57% and the stock up 26.2%. The dominant Reddit narrative was part celebration, part warning. Popular posts revived the "Intel Grandma Guy" saga and highlighted massive gains on shares and LEAPs, but another widely shared post argued the rally already assumes near-perfect execution and a huge long-term growth ramp. That mix kept the tone neutral, even with the price ripping higher.

GameStop still deserves a mention, but mostly as background noise rather than the week's main change. The biggest posts centered on bullish Superstonk theories about swaps and acquisition strategy, plus a rumor that GameStop may have found a buyer for Micromania. Even so, attention cooled from the prior week, which makes GME less interesting than the faster-moving names this time around.
